Welcome to the latest installment of Custom Spotlight! Today we are spotlighting The Joker by Celeste Villanueva! We also asked Celeste a few questions about her custom. So lets get right to that shall we?
Why did you decide to make a custom The Joker?
“I’ve always been a huge DC fan as long as long as I can remember and love to create anything Batman related whether on the kidrobot, vinylmation or the funko molds.So being as it’s my first funko custom sense to make something that I really enjoy.“
How did you come up with the idea for this custom of The Joker?
“The idea came to mind by accident as I was researching funko molds for another commissioned piece.when I saw the Hannibal mold it pretty much hit me that I needed to do something with that mold and the result was the Joker.”
How long did it take you to complete this custom of The Joker?
“The custom took about 4 days to complete from concept to finish.some of the process involved in creating him was to of sculpt the hair as well as the side belts and gaps that needed to be filled in.A little extra work but well worth the effort.“
