As some Funko collectors might know, Funko recently had a pre-release for the toasted Stay Puft Marshmallow Man from Ghostbusters and it has generated a lot of buzz and business for Hot Topic, selling out very quickly and becoming a much sought after piece for any POP! collector. The Stay Puft man is not the normal POP!, it is actually a super 6 inch POP!, a larger than normal sized POP!. Now I was wondering what other kind of 6 inch POPs! They can do, since Funko seemed to discontinue the 9 inch variants, this 6 inch format is the way to go from here on out for them. In the upcoming months, they will release a Wampa 6 inch figure for the Star Wars Series 6 and I’m very much looking forward to that.
Which of your favorite characters from pop culture should they make for the 6 inch format? Personally I would love to see a Godzilla figure, maybe even a series dedicated to characters related to Godzilla, such as Mothra, or King Ghidorah, or maybe a new Hulk figure in the 6 inch format? Maybe Smaug from The Desolation of Smaug or Ultron from next year’s Avengers: Age of Ultron?
