Recently, Diamond Select Toys (DST) has been re-releasing some of their more popular Marvel Select action figures with updated packaging, etc. Some of these were previously Disney Store exclusives, and others were just some of the older sculpts that fans requested more of. Last fall, DST re-released a great sculpt of The Green Goblin carrying a rope-bound Peter Parker and recently sent me one to take a closer look at.
I really like this action figure. Granted, he has to be placed the right way, almost precisely, in order for him to hold up Peter Parker under his own stability. The paint application is great. I really did not see any noticeable paint flaws anywhere.
After being a big collector of the old Marvel Legends line from Toy Biz, I was disappointed in the way Hasbro took over that line. This is actually my first Marvel Select figure, and will probably not be the last, based off the high quality I see from this figure.
