Continuing our 2014 Toy Fair coverage, I bring you photos from the Mattel Collector Night, which is a showcase for the products available for the year through the Matty Collector website. Unfortunately, this year the event was held in a smaller event space, was just as crowded as last year, if not more, and the event did not allow access to the main showroom floor. Since I had to get going to another event which overlapped, I basically had just enough time to snap photos of all the fun stuff Matty Collectors will be able to purchase this year. I have included some information that I have.

Masters of the Universe

Masters of the Universe carries single purchase characters for members of the club, as well as a subscription based service, which includes an exclusive figure. For 2014, they have both “Club Eternia” for He-Man, and “Club Etheria” for She-Ra.

Each of the special 30th Anniversary Super Powers Collection will include a piece of the buildable Kalibak figure. Included in this line is the Green Lantern as the Riddler, which is an homage to the Super Amigos line from Argentina which repainted the Green lantern to look like the Riddler. His packaging will also be in Spanish.

Hot Wheel Marvel Character Cars

From Mattel:

From the super thrilling, action-packed world of Marvel come villains and heroes reimagined as 1:64 scale Hot Wheels® vehicles. Each vehicle features a unique body style and design details that are authentic to each character. This assortment is all-new for fall 2014 and includes 12 unique character cars. Additional characters will be released each year.

Here’s a sneak peek at seven of the releases in this series:

On the show floor, they had a few of them already out in their display packaging:
