We are well aware that we have a growing member base, all with different hobbies in addition to Pop Vinyls and Vinylmation, our two base groups. That being said, while I was at Toy Fair this weekend, I visited with quite a few other companies that make some awesome product. One of these companies is Kotobukiya, who mainly specializes in some highly detailed, and quite affordable, statues. This year, Kotobukiya had on display statues from their Star Wars, DC, Tekken, Street Fighter, Horror, and Marvel lines. Here is a Rundown:

Star Wars

In their expanding line of ARTFX+ Statue Series, A New Hope is getting some love in November with the release of Han Solo & Chewbacca 1/10 Scale Statue. This will follow in 2015 with the release of Luke Skywalker & Princess Leia.

The Star Wars ARTFX Bishoujo Series adds Mara Jade to the lineup in May 2014. Previously released was Jaina Solo.

Tekken/ Street Fighter

Expanding the Bishoujo line for Tekken and Street Fighter, expect to see Jun Kazama (May 2014) join the ranks of Tekken, while Chun-Li (February 2014) and Cammy (August 2014) fight for Street Fighter.

Horror Movie

For the first time, the Bishoujo line is going for the horror movie, in the form of new Freddy vs. Jason statues, to be released in late 2014.

DC

First up for the DC line are the Bishoujo statues for 2014/ 2015, which will consist of Armored Wonder Woman (May 2014) and Starfire (October 2014).

Then we have the ARTFX statue of Wonder Woman, coming in December 2014. It will compliment the already released statues of Superman: For Tomorrow and Batman: Black Costume.

In September 2014, Batman: Arkham City will be released… and keep an eye out for Batman: Arkham Origins Series of ARTFX+ statues, set to be announced soon.

In continuing with the DC Comics New 52 Series of ARTFX+ Statues, Nightwing (April 2014) and Batgirl (June 2014) will join the Caped Crusader and company.

There will also be Guardians of the Galaxy ARTFX+ statues coming out this summer. After the official movie trailer was released from Marvel during Toy Fair, Kotobukiya offered us the first look at the Rocket Raccoon & Groot statue… very awesome.

For regular Marvel Fine Art releases, look for Psylocke: X-Force to be released in April 2014, Juggernaut: Danger Room Session to be released in August 2014, and Wolverine: Brown Outfit to be released in Q1 2015.
