Disney POP! Plushies to Release in July!

I have a feeling a lot of my Disney friends will enjoy these, which I first saw previewed at Toy Fair:

Though they are not my personal style, I am sure they will be a hit with kids and adult collectors alike.

The set will be available July 3rd, with the exception of Belle and Maleficent. They will released on July 11th.

Hello Kitty & Uglydoll Mash-ups: Funko Vinyls coming to SDCC

Earlier this week, I received an email from Uglydoll and Sanrio (makers of Hello Kitty) announcing a very special Limited Edition Collection featuring Hello Kitty dressed up as a few of the popular Uglydolls. The center of this collection will be a limited edition set of plush by Gund.

As cute as these are, a little blurb in the announcement made me excited:

The collection will include a set of limited edition plush by Gund® featuring Hello Kitty dressed as Uglydoll’s popular characters – OX™, Trunko™, Ice-Bat™ and Wage™ – as well as a set of vinyl figures by Funko.

Hmmmm? I am assuming these will be POP! Vinyls and, based off the designs of the plush, will look pretty adorable.

Oh, how I wish I was going to SDCC… le sigh.

Batman Beyond, Darkseid, Heath Ledger, & More- NEW DC Glam Shots Revealed!

The next round of DC POP! Vinyls are due out later this year, and yesterday Brian from Funko shared with us some awesome Glam Shots of the new series of characters making their way to POP! form.

I am not an avid collector of the DC POP! Vinyls, but I will pick up a few of these, like Darkseid and Harley Quinn… and that Heath Ledger Joker from The Dark Knight is just awesome… a must have.

Also, if you notice… #38 & #39 are missing… SDCC exclusives maybe? We shall see.

Big Bang Theory Pics Revealed!

Yesterday gh0st brought confirmation that the rest of the cast of the hit show The Big Bang Theory would be made into POP! form, something that I talked about with Brian from Funko back at Toy Fair in February. This morning brings us brand new Glam Shots of Leonard, Raj, Howard, Penny, and Bernadette.

These look amazing, and I might need to get the entire set. However, do we know Penny’s last name? Everyone else has their full name, including the hyphenated Bernadette… weird.

This Theory has got an even BIGGER Bang!

It’s been confirmed by Entertainment Earth that some more of the loveable guys from Big Bang Theory have been added to the Pop! Television line. These Pop! vinyls include:

1) Bernadette
2) Howard
3) Penny
4) Raj

Unfortunately, these pops have no picture or even prototype picture up yet. I really am wondering what they look like due to me absolutely loving this show. These guys/gals are up for pre-order on Entertainment Earth and have a hopeful release date of September. Are you guys excited about these Pops? Let us know in the comments below!

Oh, My Little Pony – My Little Pony!

Rummaging through a few sites I came across a pre-order on awesometoyz.com and I’m imagining by the title you already know what I came across. Thats right – MY LITTLE PONY POP VINYLS!! Personally, I never watched the new cartoon but have heard it’s hysterical. Take a look at these glam shots:

Even though I’m not a fan of the show these ponies MIGHT just make it to my collection. They are pretty awesome looking! Also, now maybe it’s just me but does anyone else notice that #01 and #02 are missing? I wonder who else is going to be apart of this set. Who do you guys think it’ll be? Two Special Disney Announcements

For those who have not heard the news yet, Brian (President of Funko) has released information via that in the future the groups of Disney series will in fact be smaller. The reason for this would be more releases throughout the year which is an obvious good move by Funko. He also stated within … you know what? Here’s the actual posting =]

“THINK small groups from here on out with Disney..so we can release more through out the year..

For example:
4 new Pop! from Roger Rabbit are coming up next after series 5.
Then we have a bunch of smaller groupings that all Disney fans will really love!”

So are you foaming at the mouth right now since Roger Rabbit HAS been confirmed? What do you think the other 3 figures could be? Both Baltar and I believe one of them has to be Jessica Rabbit but are trying to figure out another 2 solid characters to be in the set. Who do you guys think they are?
