For today’s review, I check out two of the Vinimates released by the team over at Diamond Select Toys in celebration of the Godzilla movies from the past 65+ years. Considered the longest running film franchise in history, the beloved giant lizard graced screens starting in 1954, with his last film appearance being in this year’s Godzilla vs. Kong. Diamond Select Toys released a bunch of collectibles themed to this franchise, including different looks of Godzilla in Vinimate form. Let’s check out the 1954 and 1962 versions.

Godzilla 1954: the first appearance of Godzilla.

Godzilla 1962: from the movie King Kong vs. Godzilla.

Each Vinimate comes with a rotating head, and a tail that needs to be put on when removed from the box.

Thanks, as always, to Zach and the Diamond Select team for sending these over for me to take a look at. They make a great addition to my Vinimates collection.
