For today’s review, I take a look at a special release from Quantum Mechanix (QMx) to celebrate the 80th Anniversary of Disney’s Fantasia. Featuring Mickey Mouse as The Sorcerer’s Apprentice, this beautiful Q-Fig Max was released as a First to Market Disney Store exclusive. Let’s check it out.

In this Q-Fig Max, Mickey Mouse, as The Sorcerer’s Apprentice, rides the spellbook into the whirlpool as Yensid’s Enchanted Brooms dump water onto Mickey. This figure is the largest Q-Fig I have seen in person, and is highly detailed.

Unlike the Hocus Pocus Q-Fig Max (which costs the same as this one and is much smaller), though this Q-Fig started out as a Disney Parks exclusive, it is now available elsewhere for order/ pre-order. In fact, our friends over at Entertainment Earth have this figure up for pre-order right now.
