For today’s review, I look at a piece released last year over in Disneyland’s Wonderland Gallery to celebrate the 65th Anniversary of the theme park. Sculpted by artist Dave Perillo and featuring a Disney Parks icon that appears at five locations throughout the world. Here is the iconic and beloved Partners Statue.

The real Partners statue was sculpted by artist Blaine Gibson, and features Walt Disney and Mickey Mouse holding hands while looking over Disney’s vision surrounding them. The original statue is located in Disneyland, Walt’s original dream. Subsequent versions of the sculpture are located at Walt Disney World, Disneyland Paris, Tokyo Disneyland, and the Walt Disney Studios in Burbank, California.

This Special Edition vinyl figure stands 7″ tall.

This was one of two vinyl figures released at Disneyland’s Wonderland Gallery especially for Disneyland’s 65th Anniversary. The other one was Mr. Toad, which I reviewed last year.

I’m so happy that shopDisney started selling this piece online, as my friends were not able to get it for me at Disneyland during its’ initial release. I always make it a point to take pictures of and in front of this statue when I am at a Disney Park. Happy to have this piece in my Disney collection.
