For today’s review, I check out two of the Funko Pop! Vinyl releases from the Pixar movie Onward, which was released around this time last year. This was actually the last movie I saw in theatres before the pandemic shut things down. While I enjoyed the movie, I didn’t want to go crazy collecting pieces from this movie, but decided these two pieces represented the movie well enough, seeing as the movie revolves around the two brothers and their journey. Here is Ian and Barley Lightfoot.
In the movie, Ian and Barley go on a quest after they accidentally bring their father… somewhat… back to the land of the living for the day. Set in a modern world where myths and legends are real, it’s a very imagery rich and filled with fun details, especially if you are into things like Dungeons & Dragons and Lord of the Rings.
These are pretty fun sculpts, and capture the look of Ian and Barley very well. These are great additions to my Disney collection.
