For today’s review, I take a look at a recent release in the Pop! Myths line, which is an exclusive line for Funko Shop online. A staple to a lot of flower gardens everywhere, here is the Gnome.

I like how this line showcases the myths behind some of these characters. In this case, house gnomes in Cologne, Germany come out of their hiding places at night and do the chores in the house for the humans while they sleep. This is similar to the house elves at Hogwarts in theĀ Harry Potter book series, who would do all of the chores in the castle, usually without the students or teachers seeing them.

Growing up as a child, there were always gnome statues out and about in my parents’ flower gardens. When I saw that Funko was releasing this piece as part of the Myths series, I knew I wanted to add him to my collection for nostalgia purposes. The sculpt is great, and I like how he is holding his little hammer.

If you’d like to add this piece, or any of the other Pop! Myths to your collection, you can visit the Funko Shop Exclusives website.
