Editor’s Note: Dear Readers, while Toy Fair ended this past week, I will be spreading coverage of the event throughout the month, as I had family obligations to take care of immediately following Toy Fair, and I am starting a vacation this weekend. While I will attempt to get stories out as soon as I can, bear with me as there is a lot to report about from this year’s event.

Each year at Toy Fair, I am always on the lookout for an up and coming vinyl collectible to share with our readers. This year, I came across the team over at The Coop (formerly The Crowded Coop). On display at their booth was their new line of vinyl figures… Handmade by Robots.

The initial releases of these collectibles include characters from GhostbustersStar Trek: The Original SeriesBorderlands, and Bioshock. Each design looks like the character was crocheted together, using yarn for hair and buttons for eyes. So cute.

Figures that are forthcoming soon include two pieces in conjunction with NASA, as well as Claptrap from Borderlands.

Throughout the rest of the year, Made by Robots is expanding their lines with characters from The Walking DeadFireflyThe X-FilesPlanet of the ApesStar Trek: PicardNapoleon Dynamite, and a bunch of Horror Classics.

Want to add any of these pieces to your collection? Check out Entertainment Earth, where a bunch of the designs are already up for purchase.
