For today’s review, I take a look at two of the pieces that I picked up at this year’s New York Comic Con from the Titan Merchandise booth. Known for their Titans vinyl figures, as well as apparel, books, and comic books, one of Titan’s flagship licenses, and their most popular line, revolves around BBC’s Doctor Who television series.
While Titan’s blind boxed sets for Doctor Who is currently slowed down, they did releases some convention exclusives this year, including two for New York Comic Con: the Thirteenth Doctor 3″ Kawaii “Kerblam!” Titan and 3″ “Rosa” Titan. Let’s take a closer look.
The 3″ Kawaii Titan is based off the artwork of Kelly Yates. The regular 3″ Titan is based off the artwork of Matt Jones.
I am so happy to have been able to add these two pieces to my Doctor Who collection. Far from a completionist in this line, I am excited each time I can get something for its’ retail cost. With these being convention exclusives, secondary market prices can get out of hand at times.
Good news for those wanting to add these pieces to their collection. Entertainment Earth is currently taking pre-orders for these two pieces. Looks like they got some of the leftover stock from NYCC.
