For today’s Funko Pop! Vinyl review, I take a closer look at two Doctor Who Pop! Vinyls that I added to my collection late last year. Welcome to the collection… Rose Tyler and Vashta Nerada.

First up is Rose Tyler, Companion to the Ninth and Tenth Doctors. While she was released as a regular, common Pop! Vinyl, her popularity to Whovians (Doctor Who fans) made her hard to find in the wild… at least around my area. Luckily, I finally tracked her down at New York Comic Con.

Next up is Vashta Nerada. Appearing in the Season 4 of the Doctor Who reboot episode Silence in the Library, the Vashta Nerada is a microscopic sentient species who, in the episode, swarm together inside spacesuits to communicate with the Doctor. This Pop! Vinyl was a New York Comic Con shared exclusive with Hot Topic.

The Doctor Who line is currently the only line that I am working on being a completionist for, as I am a big fan of the series and its’ characters. When I can add not just one, but two, pieces to my collection, I am happy. Rose Tyler is one of my favorite Companions, and Silence in the Library is up there in my favorite episode list. Being one step closer to completing this line is great.
