For today’s review, I take a look at another of the GameStop Black Friday 2018 exclusive Funko Pop! Vinyls with their chase. Following Max Goof, this Pop! is also part of a cartoon from The Disney Afternoon and is also the first one in the cartoon’s line. From Chip ‘n Dale’s Rescue Rangers, here is Monterey Jack.
A mustached Austrailian mouse, the world trotting Monterey Jack, or “Monty”, joins the Rescue Rangers in the first episode of the cartoon series. Obsessed with cheese, Monterey Jack’s eyes start spiraling whenever he smells it. This was the basis of his Chase.
I am really happy that Monterey Jack, like Max, opens the door to more characters in Pop! form from Chip ‘n Dale’s Rescue Rangers. Previously, we got all of the main characters in Mystery Minis form.
While the Chase version is a simple repaint of the eyes, I think it is fitting of this Pop! Vinyl. The one downside is that Monterey Jack is missing his sidekick, Zipper the fly. However, because he is the largest of the four main characters, I am content is seeing Zipper coming with Chip, Dale, or Gadget.
Overall, I love this Pop! Vinyl, and cannot wait to see more characters from this cartoon made.

I know every episode. 😉 I love the “hypnotized” version with yellow eyes. <3 But I miss Zipper. I'd like to see a third version: Monteray Jack & Zipper *-* Well, there was a giant Zipper in one of the episodes, but I would prefer a small one. Hopefully we'll get the whole team.
