Tomorrow Mickey Mouse turns 90 years old. Today, I take a look at two of the new Minis that Funko has released to commemorate the day. Exclusive to New York Comic Con and shared with Amazon, the Black & White Mickey Mouse Minis 2 pack feature Mickey from both The Fire Fighters and Plane Crazy.

These sculpts are really cute. However, one of the biggest issues I have is that the red packaging to display the minis in box left small red markings on the figures (you can see it on the backside wheel of the plane and the shoes of Fireman Mickey). I tried a bit to get the marks off, but I believe they are more stained than anything else. Aside from that, these figures are a lot of fun.

The rest of the Mickey Mouse minis released to celebrate this set are open window boxed. I am still on the fence if I am going to be picking them up or not, but they do look great.

Looking forward to celebrating Mickey’s birthday tomorrow, once again visiting the Mickey: The True Original Exhibition down in NYC. I was there two weeks ago and posted some pics of my walk through. I hear for that his birthday tomorrow, there will be some special things going on. Can’t wait to see what they will be.
