Tonight beginning at Midnight Easter/9pm Pacific, I’ll be up all night updating as items go on sale online! I’ve done this the past few years and it’s been a fun albeit exhausting experience. So what can you do to better your chances to get exclusives?

3. FOLLOW ME ON TWITTER! @PopVinyls (nice blue check mark also). I’ll probably send out a random message like this:
“OMG HOT TOPIC EXCLUSIVES ARE UP!!!! “
4. Understand there is not one set plan! Hot Topic just said on Twitter that their items (and most likely Box Lunch as well) will now go online at Midnight Pacific/ 3am Eastern (learn your time zones people!) July 19th. This doesn’t mean it will exactly happen that way but normally it does. Some other stores WILL NOT go live until 3am Eastern or maybe 6am. There will also be website issues as certain places have websites that cannot handle insane traffic. BE PATIENT.
5. Funko-Shop Exclusives Will Not Go Online overnight. So if all you want is something that might Funko has the exclusive, then get some sleep. Those items will go on sale randomly throughout the SDCC online HERE starting at 10:30am EST each day. It might be one at a time of multiple.
6. Toy Toyko will not go online tonight. It will be after SDCC if at all. We’re hearing that they will make an announcement at some point. Follow their website and social media for any updates.
7. Have fun! These things are fun to collect but ppl get frustrated. Don’t worry, most are in large numbers so if you don’t get it online, you can walk calmly to your local retailer who has exclusives:
This is a great primer I could’ve used when I started collecting. I would add that if you have items in your cart and the site is freezing up (Barnes & Noble I’m looking at you) just hold on for a bit because you will be in a queue.

Baltar, as much as I love pops I dread this time of year. The stress. The waiting in line. The shopping cart issues (thanks B&N). But I do have to say this site makes it so much easier to handle. Because of this site, last year I was able to get everything on my list. Thanks again for putting the time into helping us all out!!

THIS IS ALL SUCH B.S!!!! Trying to pay for over an hour on gamestop and then it tells me one of the pops is no longer available. All other sites sell out in seconds. Funko and these sites that sell them really need to do something better
Did Barnes & Noble go live? I got to put items in the cart but then they are saying they are unavailable. What about Walmart?

Gamestop is the biggest load of crap ever!!! Been trying since 345am to buy iron man and redhood, site still barely loads, everytime i try to pay it goes down and now the site says there available for store pickup only. Something better really needs to be done
Try Think Geek. Same parent company. The Think Geek near me opened early. I didn’t know so by the time I got there there was no line but they had a ton of stock. Got both the Red Hood and Iron Man. Good luck.
Well, I woke up too late this morning. I live in Canada and I want the Hot Topic ones but there is no Hot Topic near me so I can’t go to a store to pick them up. And online, the Pops I wanted are sold out. I checked on eBay and the SDCC 2018 Pops are so overpriced! I guess I won’t have any SDCC 2018 Pops this year. 🙁
