Welcome to Flashback Friday where I discuss Pops from the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Anything Pop related to the MCU is up for discussion including films and television series. Let’s jump right in with this week’s discussion. The Black Order from the Avengers: Infinity War set are this week’s featured MCU Pops.

The Black Order
#291 Ebony Maw

Discussion: The Black Order are first introduced into the Marvel Cinematic Universe in the newly released Avengers: Infinity War. The group also known as the “Children of Thanos” make their presence known early on to serve Thanos with great purpose and desire. The members of the Black Order include Cull Obsidian, Ebony Maw, Proxima Midnight, and Corvus Glaive. According to some of my comic book friends Corvus and Proxima are husband and wife. All four characters get good representation in the film and each one gets a chance to shine in battle. You’ll have to let me know in the comments which character is your favorite in the movie without leaving in any spoilers. After seeing the film twice during opening weekend I think Ebony Maw narrowly takes the cake for me. It’s so difficult trying to talk about the Black Order without delving into spoiler territory.

The Black Order
#298 Cull Obsidian (Walgreens)

I can say with confidence that each Pop from the Black Order looks pretty darn close to its movie counterpart. Cull Obsidian will definitely be the most difficult of the four to track down. He’s a Walgreens exclusive and checking recent eBay sold listings he’s going for $20.00 to $30.00 and I’d expect him to increase in value during the rest of 2018. Corvus Glaive, Ebony Maw, and Proxima Midnight are much easier to get a hold of. None of them are exclusives and each are selling for $10.00 to $12.00. If you’re prepared to spend roughly $60.00 bucks you will own the Children of Thanos. As always checkout our Facebook group if you’re interested in buying, selling, or trading your Pops and any other Funko merchandise.

Trivia: Be the first to comment with the correct answers to both questions and win. Please choose a Pop within the MCU that has not been featured in the Flashback Friday series and leave your choice after your answers. This week’s questions will come from Avengers: Infinity War.

The Black Order
#290 Corvus Glaive

Q1: Who was not allowed to read the script for this film since he revealed too many secrets for Spider-Man: Homecoming?

Q2: Name all of the Infinity Stones name dropped in the film.

The Black Order
#292 Proxima Midnight

I hope you enjoyed this week’s column. Please check back next week for a brand new Flashback Friday. Excelsior!!

I've been an avid Pop MCU collector for the last few years. I've recently focused my collection on Captain America Funko products since he's my favorite Marvel superhero. I've also been collecting and playing the Pokémon Trading Card game for the last decade. I also run and judge events. I'm into Marvel, DC, Pokémon, Disney, The Walking Dead, Game of Thrones, and WWE.

  1. 1. Tom Holland, 2. Soul, Mind, Time, Reality, Power, Space

Not sure if Thanos has been featured but that’d be amazing

  2. Tom Holland was the actor not allowed to read the script, and the stones were Power, Space, Reality, Soul, Time, and Mind.
A pop in the MCU not talked about yet that I’d like to see is Agent Carter.
