Last week, Entertainment Earth announced that they are releasing an 8-Bit Alien Pop! Vinyl variant, based on the look of the Alien in the old Alien: Resurrection video game. Today, I take a closer look at this Pop!, shipping in June, which Entertainment Earth was kind enough to send over for review.

The sculpt is the same as the regular B-Bit release of the Xenomorph (Alien). However, this one is colored in a tri-tone, with blue and red flanking each side and the middle being all black.

I do like how the black and two colors are used in the transition areas, giving it more of that 8-Bit look to it. Even though it is a blocky figure, I could see the deign of the colors throwing things off too much. This is a great balance.

Overall, if you are a fan of the Alien franchise and grew up playing the video games, you will want to add this to your Pop! collection.

To add this Pop! to your collection, check out Entertainment Earth, where they have this exclusive available for pre-order, as well as many others in stock and ready to be shipped.
