In today’s review, I am going to take a look at some of the newly released Pop! Vinyls based on the movie Elf, which starred Will Farrell as Buddy, an human “elf” who goes on a journey to New York City to find out who he really is. This collection features Pop! Vinys of Buddy Elf (along with a Chase), his love interest Jovie, his adoptive father Papa Elf, and his friend from the North Pole Narwhal. For this review, I take a look at the three regular releases of Buddy Elf (holding a jar of maple syrup), Jovie, and Papa Elf, as well as the Toys ‘R’ Us exclusive Narwhal.

For me, the standout design in this collection is the Narwhal. Simplistic paint job but I am digging the unique sculpt and how it has that Pop! feel without having to resort to Pop! dimensions. Additionally, Jovie has a stand packed in with her, which is not featured here in the pics. I found it funny that she stood fine on her own without it, yet I had a lot of trouble getting Papa Elf to stand on his own… and he does not come with a stand.

Overall, I find these a great addition to my Holiday Pop! collection (which has seen a boom this year with all of the releases, including The Grinch collection and the Home Alone collection). A wonderful holiday movie for the whole family… and a great Pop! collection by Funko.
