San Diego, CA July 17th, 2017 – Trans World Entertainment Corporation (NASDAQ: TWMC) today announced they have opened two pop-up shops in San Diego at Horton Plaza, just in time for San Diego Comic Con. The shops will be open for a limited time and bring fans the pop culture experience they have come to expect from an FYE store. “We are leveraging our long term relationships with the best brands in the entertainment industry to present compelling merchandise which furthers the connection between our customers and entertainment,” stated Mike Feurer, the Company CEO.

The first location, the FYE – for your entertainment pop-up shop features an assortment of shared San Diego Comic Con exclusive product including Funko Pop! Vinyl figures, collectibles from Diamond Select Toys, Alex Ross art, and Loot Crate, plus apparel, music, movies and much more! Fans can expect to find unique and exciting merchandise and they will be able to pre-order new products that FYE has been developing in collaboration with their partners.

FYE is thrilled to collaborate with Cartoon Network Enterprises and Adult Swim to bring fans their first-ever taste of exclusive Rick & Morty licensed Confectionary and Snacks.  An exclusive cereal called “Strawberry Smiggles” inspired by the Rick and Morty episode entitled “Rixty Minutes” will launch at the FYE pop up store.   This tasty treat “from another reality” will be followed by character-specific chocolate bars and one-of-a-kiFYE nd gummy products coming to FYE stores in the fall.

The second FYE location at Horton Plaza will be dedicated to WWE. This pop up shop will feature all of the merchandise that WWE fans love, including Championships Title’s, autographed memorabilia, T-shirts, action figures and much more!
