Well, here it is. Another year winding down. For the last crate of 2016, Loot Crate went with the theme “Revolution”, featuring items from Mr. RobotAssassin’s CreedFirefly, and more. Let’s see if this last crate of the year is a winner or a dud.

1. Loot Crate Exclusive Assassin’s Creed Pop! Vinyl

A Loot Crate exclusive, this “crouching” version of Aguilar from the new Assassin’s Creed movie is pretty cool. I never got into the video game, and have no interest in the movie, but I know a lot of people who resigned up for Loot Crate because of the Pop! Vinyl, which is the first one they have had in a while for the regular subscription.

For some, just this alone would make the crate worth it, but there are also a few other fun items.

2. Loot Crate Exclusive Mr. Robot T-Shirt

I do not watch the TV series, but this is a pretty bold and solid shirt design. Especially with all of the societal turmoil going on, I could see this being a very popular shirt being worn.

3. Loot Crate Exclusive Firefly Independents Patch

Granted, when I heard that Firefly would be featured in the crate, I was hoping for something more than just a patch. However, it is of high quality and will be going into my car somewhere, as I am a proud Browncoat.

4. Loot Crate Exclusive Figure Fantasy Hardcover Book

Featuring the photographic art of Daniel Picard, a foreward by Simon Pegg, and an afterward by Kevin Smith, this hardcover book feature action figures in a wide variety of different photography adventures. Briefly flipping through, there are some really great shots. I can’t wait to have time after the holidays to delve into it more.

Also included in the book is a code for Sideshow Collectibles, which could be worth $200 to shop at their site (every code is at least $25). Pretty nice bonus.

5. Loot Crate Assassin’s Creed Pin with Book Exert Unlock

Each month’s pin unlocks something exclusive online. This month’s exclusive is an exert from the upcoming Assassin’s Creed : Heresy novel by Christine Golden.

Overall thoughts: For me, this crate was well worth the $20 cost. While I did not care for everything in the crate, there is value to everything, and each item is exclusive.

NEXT UP: ORIGINS

Next month’s “ORIGINS” crate will feature an exclusive Funko Pop! Vinyl, and will include items froms Superman, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Marvel, and Nintendo. Can’t wait!
