This weekend, some households here in the US received the newest Hot Topic mailer, which includes hot new products, popular offerings, and upcoming exclusives coming to online and in stores. Included in this month’s mailer is a look at a new exclusive Pop! Vinyl from the upcoming Disney animated movie Moana. Here is Moana as a toddler.
While the more recent previews for the movie feature an adult Moana (voiced by Auli’i Cravalho) going on an oceanic adventure through the Polynesian islands with the god Maui (voiced by Dwayne Johnson), the first look I got of Moana at D23 Expo 2015 was that of Moana as a toddler playing with her new “friend”, the ocean.
While this might nit be the most popular version of the newest Disney heroine to hit the store shelves, I am excited that she is being released, even if it is just an exclusive. I will definitely be picking this Pop! Vinyl up when it hits stores.
For those of you who didn’t already see, last week we also got a peek of the Moana and Maui Pop! Vinyls, which started surfacing at locations throughout the US earlier than expected.
