Hello my name is C.S. Glanton, aka Earthkidd. I’m thrilled to be one of the new writers here. I’m literally on PopVinyls.com everyday, staying up to date on the latest funko news. Now to have a chance to contribute to the news and write here, is completely insane.  To give you a better picture of how awesome this is.  I recommend you watch A Game of Thrones, season 3 episode 10 “Mysha”.  Fast forward to about the 1 hour 2 minute mark and that’s how I feel.  Just like Daenerys Targaryen at the end of that episode.

Which brings me to my Funko legacy collection line photo shoot of Daenerys Targaryen.

imageThis figure has been out for awhile now. I’m just really missing Game of Thrones and legacy figures. So I figured I’d injure two birds with one stone and take a legacy figure out the box and quickly review it.

First I want to say, upon opening this figure I was blown away of how awesome it is.

The packaging is collector friendly. You can slide the figure back in the box if you choose to rotate your display, or pack it back up for whatever reason.

Daenerys comes with a small whip, which I think is to command her dragons. She stands around 6″ and has 20 points of articulation.

I was surprised to see the double jointed knee articulation. Which allows you to do this namaste Targaryen pose.

I really love the detailed sculpting of her iconic braids.

One of the cool things about the legacy line, is they pair up nicely with other Funko figures from the same license. I like posing her next to the 6″ Rhaegal Funko Pop!

Overall this is an awesome figure for any Game of Thrones fan. I’m really loving it. Here’s a few more outdoor pictures.

I hope you’ve enjoyed this review. If you’re like me, and need to pass the time until the next season comes back around, there’s good news.  The Mother of Dragons is still in stock here.

What do you think? Have you already collected the legacy line, or are you going to be picking some of these figures up, let us know in the comments.
