Showcasing images from the actual comics that originally breathed life into this character, this figure gives us a glimpse into the Flash’s action-packed life.
Artists have been breaking out their paints, brushes, and clays to modify Funko POPs now for years, creating amazing 3D masterpieces out of the adorable vinyl figures. But sometimes an artist follows a less traditional method for customizing the figure, utilizing different materials to create something amazing in a new way. For Prevatte, this meant putting down the paints, which he’s used for many a custom before, and picking up the classic comics that have inspired creators for generations.
While the materials themselves might be simple, the thought process going into the figures shows incredible depth. Selecting action-packed images that epitomize the Flash as a superhero, with classic and catchy Flash quotes to match, the figure truly offers a glimpse into the comics themselves, with just enough adorable vinyl-ness to balance it out.
