Disney’s making a splash this week with one of the most highly anticipated sequels in the studios’ modern film history: Finding Dory. It’s only fitting that we countdown the pops from both movies! Let’s dive in, pun intended.

5. Dory

Shockingly, everyone’s favorite optimistic fish came in last this week. While I know she is definitely NOT anyone’s least favorite character, I think she fell last this week because the likeness is just not in the eyes. Everything else is spot on, but it’s missing some expression or glimmer of hope that the character can only exude on film!

4. Nemo

This one is a bit of a head scratcher for me. I’m really surprised to see Nemo so low. I think Funko captured the likeness of this character 100%, especially with his signature small fin on one side. I also think the fins on the bottom of the pop to make it stand were a great design feature. My favorite in the line by a mile, I just can’t understand why he didn’t come higher this week. Disfan49 must agree with me because he wrote, “it looks like he jumped out of screen and into pop form!”

3. Hank

Finding Dory’s debut character, Hank the octopus looks like he’ll be a very fun addition to Disney canon. Holding a coffee pot and sculpted to perfection, I really like this pop. Austin M. Decker wrote, “Hank looks the best to me” and while I still like Nemo, Hank’s pop is really awesome!

2. Bruce

One word: Likeness. This pop captures Bruce perfectly. I love his grin, teeth, and fin layout. Really cool pop here. Based on a really cool character too, he did really well in our poll.  I think the expression is what pushed this one up the list!

Everyone’s favorite laid back turtle takes the top spot this week. On Crush, Disfan49 wrote, “Now THIS character is perfection! They captured the essence of this character perfectly! You can tell right from his expression that he is a relaxed and overall cool dude! He looks exactly like a turtle and the way they used his front arms to use as a stand was quite genius! Easily my favorite from the set!” I have to agree with every word there – and that’s why Crush ran away with #1! Cowabunga!

Do you agree with our list? What would you like to see from this line in the future should Funko expand it? Sound off below. Also, suggest themes for future countdowns!
