Back during Toy Fair, I swung by the Cryptozoic Entertainment booth to check out their 2016 offerings. There, I found their DC Bombshells line, a collection of products based off artwork and statues created that blend DC Comics Heroines with the artistic era of World War II, pinup art and dieselpunk.

One of the product lines is a collection of vinyl figures, one a 7″ line and the other a mini-figure line. With the release of the first wave of 7″ figures (comprised of Harley Quinn, Catwoman, and Wonder Woman), Cryptozoic is also releasing a set of “Noir” editions of the figures, limited to a count of 3,000 each.

This past week, Cryptozoic sent me over a first look sample of the Noir Harley Quinn, which will be a Barnes & Noble exclusive this summer. Let’s check her out.

Now, while Harley comes in a beautiful window display box, I had to take a closer look at the details and paint job… which are done really well. There is a great 360 degree look about her, from the gun and the aviator jacket & goggles, to the pigtails and the dogtags… it’s a complete figure, and a perfect mix of WWII and classic Harley Quinn. I also like the display base designed to look like a WWII bomb. To me, it sets the figure off really well.

I’m looking forward to getting the regular release of Harley to compare side by side to the Noir version to see which one I would like better. Might be a tough one.

SRP on Noir Harley Quinn will be the same as the regular releases, at $29.99. No exact date of arrival at Barnes & Noble locations has been announced, so keep your eyes peeled.

Now, if you are like me, you are wondering how to get the Noir versions of Catwoman and Wonder Woman. I mean, they are only LE 3,000 after all. Well, just yesterday, PREVIEWS announced that both of them will be SDCC 2016 exclusives. That’s right… SDCC… and here I am in NYC. Luckily, I have friends going, so hopefully they can help me complete the Noir collection. Now, will this mean Harley will appear at Barnes & Noble on Comic-Con weekend? Could be. If we find out closer to July, we will let everyone know.
