April Fools! Seriously I know that the way the website is designed you can read this without even clicking the link to enter the article so… maybe it’s not my best work? But hey you were on your toes today anyway ready to take on anything the internet threw at you because it is April Fools Day and basically today is the day everyone becomes Stone Cold Steve Austin and doesn’t trust anyone. Anyways… Welcome to the Highlight! It’s my own column where I bring you some of the best photos of the week that I took over on my Instagram page (@Esbjo_Figs Click Here!) and sometimes throw in some of my Youtube Reviews from Eddie’s Toy Box (Click Here!) and you can access both of those pages for these photos and a TON more by clicking the respective links. Thank you so much for joining me today, and I hope that photo up top really comes across for my Supernatural Fans out there. Rise and shine, Sammy! One of the best episodes of Supernatural in my own opinion, but I don’t think I’m alone in that. So let’s get on with the rest of the photos!

“Siri, How much longer for cookies?”

Cookie Monster from the Pop! Sesame Street line! One of my kid’s (and mine) favorite commercial on TV right now is the Cookie Monster ad for the IPhone. Right, it’s for the IPhone? I’m an Android guy, but I know he talks to Siri. Anyway it’s hilarious. When he pops his head up in the window and is desperately waiting for cookies to bake. Just great stuff. “Me so hungry for cookies.” we’ve all been there Cookie Monster. I wanted to try to make a Pop inspired photo based on the commercial and here is the end result! Hope you guys like it! And to see Cookie Monster eat some real cookies check out this review from the Eddie’s Toy Box vault!

2319!

Dobby from the Pop! Harry Potter series, George Sanderson from the Pop! Disney series, and some Imaginext toys/cars! Monster’s Inc fans are no stranger to code 2319… and neither is ol’ Sanderson over there. So when Dobby comes walking up with a sock in his hand one wouldn’t assume he’s been set free, but rather he’s infected and needs to be cleaned as soon as possible. That’s where the C.D.A. come in… or rather my kid’s imaginext toys. Sanderson just so happens to be there in passing to see Dobby going through the horrors he once did and a simple “Been there” is enough acknowledgement to know he needs to keep on moving before they see the sock on his own back!

Son of Krypton vs. Bat of Gotham

Superman and Armor Batman mystery minis! Okay, so the original caption for this wasn’t a caption at all, but rather my thoughts on the movie. I… and brace yourself… did not care for the film. Comic book fans can argue until the night is over that it’s a good representation of the comics. But, when pressed to know which ones they mention like three different comic books. So this is three different comic books jumbled into one two and a half hour long movie and the results feel that way. Ah. I’m not going to get into it. Instead I’ll say I’ll agree to see it another time with not as high expectations and see what the verdict is then. It is making a TON of money though. But.. that’s because two iconic characters are fighting on the big screen for the first time. The idea sells itself! I’d pay to see Agents of Shield fight against The Gotham P.D.! I digress… That’s the photo though!

And that’s all the time I have today! Seriously guys thanks for sticking with me even if I’m not posting this column every week like I should be… and on Thursdays… but life does get crazy sometimes and while I may have a minute or two to post photos on Instagram I never want to give this half of my attention as I’m describing to you my thoughts on the photos. So thanks! If you want to see more photos like these check out my Instagram page @Esbjo_Figs and follow for more! If you want to see more reviews (there’s literally hundreds) then check out my YouTube channel Eddie’s Toy Box! And don’t be afraid to say hi over on the Funko Trading by PopVinyls.Com Facebook page! And don’t trust anybody… today that is! Be kind to one another, have a great day… and Free the Pops! I’m out!
