Last month, we brought you info on the first two releases of TOMY’s Pokemon 20th Anniversary Mythical Pokemon series. Today, here is a look at March’s release: the Toys ‘R’ Us exclusive Celebi.
With each release of the 20th Anniversary Pokemon exclusives, there is both a Limited Edition plush (done in a crushed velvet material) and a Limited Edition figure with Pokeball (both with a pearlescent-finish).
Celebi, Pokemon #251, is the guardian of the Ilex Forest in the Pokemon games. A creature that is very hard to catch, in the actual Pokemon games Celebi is usually an in-store downloadable Pokemon. In fact, you can download Celebi to your Pokemon X, Y, Omega Ruby, and Alpha Sapphire games by linking up via wifi and downloading it off the Nintendo Network.
