Hey everyone! Did ya miss me? How long has it been? I missed all of you! I’ve been insanely busy the last few weeks because sometimes that Real World (Not the one on MTV where people stop acting polite), calls you and ya just have to answer. So, I am deeply sorry for all of those who read this article and have been wondering where it’s been! So here it is! Thursday Night Highlight is brought to you by yours truly, Eddie, from Instagram and Youtube (Eddie’s Toy Box). It’s a showcase of some of my best photos of the week with a little insight as to why I made them. Lately I’ve been a more outdoorsy kind of guy taking my Pops on field trips to the park. So there’s that focus this week with our special Kung-Fu Panda series! I’m even showing you guys TWO photos I haven’t posted anywhere else yet!
“Po training from the best.”
Here’s a little mash up with the Karate Kid for ya! Who better (When Master Shifu is away) to train the lovable Panda than Mr. Wax on Wax off? I’m always trying to think of new ways to incorporate other Pops from different licenses together in my photos and that’s another reason why I love Pops so much. Because even though they can be vastly different they’re also the same.
“Crouching Tigress”
This was a simple shot I took at the park of Tigress on a tree! I really love the design of these Kung-Fu Panda pops and though the year just started they are a strong contender for my Top 10 pops of 2016 (For my Top 10 pops of 2015 check out my Instagram feed at www.instagram.com/esbjo_figs). Tigress is amazing and I wish they made more of the furious five but here’s to hoping for future pops in the series!
“Were you talking to me?”
Po in a hat! This is another fantastic Pop and I love the fact that even though it’s Po for a second time they’ve designed his body entirely different than the first pop in the series. They could have stuck a hat on that one and called it a day, but they changed this pop from almost every aspect right down to the features on his face. He means business here. The first pop he’s playing games. Here. You don’t know Po.
