This myriad of merry fellows is ready to bring your breakfast to a bowl near you!  Featuring Snap, Crackle, and Pop, Cap’n Crunch, Lucky the Leprechaun, the Trix Rabbit, and Quisp, these figures, created by Michael Hofeldt, are here to pop the fun into your morning.

Custom Corner: Cereal MascotsSince Funko’s beginning, Hofeldt has been an avid collector and fan, acquiring his first Funko item only a year after Funko was founded, and attending some of the very earliest Funko Fundays events.  His very first custom, featuring Tutti Frutti Mr. Softee dressed as Carmen Miranda, was created for the custom contest introduced at Fundays 2, and at Fundays 3 the following year his custom was recognized with one of the top awards.  At every Fundays since his customs have been recognized and placed in the top five entries, including these tasty little fellows who tied for first at the most recent Fundays event this summer.

Custom Corner: Cereal MascotsInspired by the advertising icons line that Funko had begun creating, and one of the reasons he began collecting in the first place, Hofeldt brought to life some of his favorite classic childhood characters.  Using a mix of parts from different characters, additional sculpting, very thin layers of paint, and countless hours of work, Hofeldt reached towards his ultimate end goal: to make the custom figures look like they were truly a part of the vinyl line that inspired them.  “The greatest compliment is when someone thinks my custom is an actual item produced by Funko,” he said of his customs.

With their smoothly painted surfaces and stylized features, these figures look like they hopped right off of Funko’s vinyl conveyor belt.  Hofeldt’s attention to detail and to the well-recognized Funko POP! style gives these fellows the pop they need to fit right alongside their fellow Funko-produced icons.
