Thank You Roddy! Let me start with a little tribute to the late Roddy Piper. An absolute legend and master at his craft. One of the first villains in the wrestling world I ever knew and dare I say one of the best. Just top notch on the microphone and his passing is a hit not only to the WWE, but to my childhood. So that picture up there is my tribute to Hot Rod! Thanks for the memories and thanks for showing me there are other uses to coconuts I may have never known about! Thursday Night Highlight is brought to you as always by @Esbjo_Figs (On Instagram!) or as some of you may now know me as Eddie’s Toy Box (On Youtube!) where I just reached over 1,000 subscribers. “He’s got friends on the other siiiiide.”

Dr. Facilier (Pop! Disney Princess and the Frog series) and some of his friends. The inspiration for this photo is simple. In the movie the Princess and the Frog Dr. Facilier is a witch doctor/voodoo man that has a big song and dance number about his friends on the other side. Well, transition that to the Pop world and some of his friends… erm well all of his friends are dead in one way shape or form. Even the ghouls above them haunting the darkness including the voodoo mask that ultimately seals Dr. Facilier’s fate. Some friends, huh?

“Balls. Let’s do this boys!”

Dean Winchester, Bobby Singer, and Sam Winchester mystery minis from the Supernatural line, and a few Walkers from various series of the Walking Dead line. SUPERNATURAL MYSTERY MINIS! ERMMUHGAWDD! How awesome are these?! Seriously. I know about a year ago I swore off mystery minis (and since bought numerous cases), but how can you walk away from mystery minis when Funko decides to release some based on Supernatural? You just can’t do it. You can’t. It’s impossible. These mystery minis are utterly fantastic in every sense of the word. If you want to see my Supernatural mash-up unboxing with some American Idol grade A singing by yours truly look no further than here >

“The War is over Steve. How bout that dance?”

Unmasked Captain America (SDCC exclusive) and Agent Peggy Carter from the Pop! Marvel line. With this one I wanted to go for a more depressing photo. Sometimes I dabble in depressing photos because hey that stuff exists. (I.E. my Simba with Mufasa after the stampede photo, or my Joy in Wagon with Bing Bong photo). So I gave it the old timey look and went for a 1940’s vibe with the ball room. It’s a take on the scene in Avengers: Age of Ultron where Captain America hallucinates and thinks he’s back in the old days with Agent Carter. So there’s that! I love this photo. Probably one of my favorites this year. And if you want to see a review on Agent Carter herself you can do so here >

And that’s all the time I have for you guys today! Check out that Agent Carter review though as I announce my next giveaway that you don’t want to miss out on! It’s going to take place on both my Instagram and Youtube account and the prize is going to be something that you cannot get in stores. Also, if you liked these photos and want to see more then join me over on Instagram at www.instagram.com/esbjo_figs where I post about two pictures daily (So you’re missing alot!) and be sure to look for me over on the Funko Trading by Popvinyls.com Facebook page!
