Life is a highway, but we’re taking the next exit at least for the duration of this column because it’s time for Thursday Night Highlight! Regina from the Pop! TV Once Upon A Time line, and SDCC exclusive! Well, if you’re a fan of OUAT then this photo needs no explanation. If you’re not a fan of OUAT… first… how could you? And second this is a recreation of one of the promotional images for the show. I think it was during season 3? Maybe before? I can’t remember which right now but I’m pretty sure they went with this for the DVD cover for season 3. Yea… of course! “What is this? A center for ants?!”
Ant-man from the Pop! Marvel Ant-Man series Alright so by now we all know that Marvel Collector Corps shipped their Ant-Man boxes with a mini Ant-Man. I, however did not receive mine when the box arrived. It seemed during his journey, or rather before he made his journey into the box something happened to make my Ant-Man call into action and leave my box entirely. So, that picture up there is the regular sized Ant-Man pop shrunken down to create a mash-up with Zoolander! I love this photo and many of you did too. So I thank you for that! Superman from the Pop! Heroes Batman vs. Superman Dawn of Justice Double Pack from SDCC. Alright so this photo was one of the first photos I took immediately after a friend had lent me his BvS SDCC battle pack, because really what are friends for? I simply took Superman outside and held him up by his clear base (which is shaky mind you) and edited my fingers out of the picture. So here we have Superman flying, or coming to punch me. Whatever works. This Superman is the best Pop sculpt I think I’ve ever seen. As these were First to Market I can’t wait to see what kind of release this particular pop gets later on because I need him!
