Happy TITANS Friday! Within the past couple years, vinyl figures have become the new crazy. Walk into any comic book, pop culture or toy store and you will see the wide range of styles, sizes and collections of figures. Sometimes it can be completely overwhelming to start your collection, and as many collectors can tell you, even harder to stop.

TITANS Merchandise, based in the UK, has been a powerhouse in the vinyl figure market since they first emerged onto the scene with their Doctor Who 3” figures. It is apparent that they have been doing something right from the start since they have released five more Doctor Who collections (3 more coming in the second half of 2015), a range of 6.5” figures as well as a number of figures that hit the 8” and 9” mark.

But that is not all. Recently, TITANS has announced and released collections for Breaking Bad, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, The Beatles and Alien. If that wasn’t enough, collections for Ghostbusters, Dragon Age, Battlestar Galactica and the recently announced Sherlock are due out within the coming months to the eager excitement of fans and collectors.

What makes TITANS Merchandise’s figures stand out from other vinyl figures is the amazing artist, Matt Jones (aka Lunartik). From the second you pry open the blind box and rip open the bag, which is probably the best feeling in the world, you see how Matt is able to capture the character perfectly in 3”. For those who want to add that special item to their collection, Matt also sells the artist proof figures (numbered and signed) on his  website for you to pick up.

From what they have hinted at on social media, TITANS Merchandise and Matt have a lot of figures hidden up their sleeves for 2015 and early 2016, so keep checking back here every Friday for TITANS Merchandise news, reviews, photos and interviews and let me know in the comments section; which set are you the most excited about?

Recently becoming a fan of blind boxes, combined with my love of Doctor Who, I am excited to share my love of vinyl figures with the world.
