Funko recently branched out a new division to be the name sake os many new lines. Vinyl Sugar will be the home of Vinyl Idolz, Super Deluxe, Vinyl Vixens and Dorbz. Today, let’s check out the new Dorbz line.
Dorbz was originally imagined as a 12 piece blind box series. However, Funko thought the designs were too beautiful to keep hidden. Instead they created a special double sided window box for display of the Dorbz. The initial four series will be 12 piece sets based on Marvel, Guardians of the Galaxy, Batman, and the just announced Disney. What’s great about the Marvel series is that it’s not just Marvel Pictures controlled characters.
There are two sizes of Dorbz. The standard size has a MSRP of $8.99-$9.99 and is a great price to buy all your favorite characters. The XL Dorbz are expected to retail at $24.99 and will complement your collection nicely.

For a collector like me, I’m intrigued by adding another line to my existing collections. With the impending demise of Disney’s Vinylmation line, I’m definitely looking to branching out into new collectibles to fill my nerdy needs. Dorbz will fit right in. With 4 kids at the house, I’m sure there will be something for everyone to collect.
