Welcome back to Custom Spotlight! Today we have for you a custom based off of everyone’s favorite bounty hunter Boba Fett! Now this isn’t just your everyday Boba Fett. No, this is based off of Boba’s prototype armor. This custom was made by Dan Steven of Dragonfly Designs. We asked Dan a few questions about his custom.
Why did you decide to make a custom of Boba Fett in his Prototype Armor?
“I’ve been in love with Star Wars and Boba Fett for years and I think the Prototype Armor and the story behind it is really cool.”
How did you come up with the idea for this custom?
“When I saw the Star Wars Black figure I had one of those “lightbulb moments”. I actually can’t believe I never thought to make this earlier!”
How long did it take to complete this custom?
“For the POP – It’s hard to say since I work on multiple pieces at a time but probably a few days since I work slowly and take my time. The custom box took far longer since I had to make all the artwork in Photoshop, print it, cut it and assemble it.
