Last month, we announced that PopVinyls.com and custom artists were coming together to raise money for Toys for Tots. You can read that article HERE but basically we will be auctioning off donated custom Pops in our VK Auction House to raise money for Toys for Tots. We have now finished two rounds of auctions for Toys for Tots and have raised well over $1000 for this great charity. We have one last round of custom auctions beginning Monday December 15th. Yesterday we showed you one Cousin Eddie from “National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation” and today we get Mark Boyd’s Cousin Eddie from a different scene in the house.
When Mark’s custom arrived, I asked him a few questions!
What got you into making custom Pops?
I saw a few people make customs of their pets so I decided to make one of our chihuahua. It was just a simple repaint but I also made my first custom box to go along with it.
How long have you been making customs?
About 6 months.
What is the favorite custom you have made?
I’d have to say my Possessed Regan from The Exorcist.
What was the inspiration for the piece you created for our Pops for Tots auctions?
National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation is one of my all time favorite Christmas movies because of Randy Quaids “Cousin Eddie”. He’s simply hilarious!!How can people see other customs of yours and commission their own?
