popsfortotsbanner Last month, we announced that PopVinyls.com and custom artists were coming together to raise money for Toys for Tots. You can read that article HERE but basically we will be auctioning off donated custom Pops in our VK Auction House  to raise money for Toys for Tots. The 2nd round of Pops for Tots Auctions are beginning  Sunday night December 7th. Let’s take a look at these Christmas Version of Ariel and Ursula minis created by Jeremy Sandheinrich!

After Ariel and Ursula minis showed up, I asked Jeremy a few questions!

What got you into making custom Pops?

My wife and I started collecting pops again and I decided I wanted to try my hand at making a custom. And at the time I was watching Star Wars: The Clone Wars with my kids. And I realized that there wasn’t, and probably wouldn’t be an Ahsoka Tano Pop! So I set out to make my own.

How long have you been making customs?

I started making my Ahsoka Tano in April, 2014. After that decided that I wanted to try something different. While at work at Hobby Lobby, I saw the flat back swavorski crystals. Being a huI ge Harley Quinn fan, I thought to myself “Wouldn’t Harley be cool all blinged out?” And it kind of exploded from there.

What is the favorite custom you have made?

I have so many that I have done that I love. But my 3 Harley Quinn customs I have done are my favorite.

What was the inspiration for the piece you created for our Pops for Tots auctions?

I had just finished an Ariel Crystal Custom, and thought that her and Ursula would be a really cool pair of Christmas Customs.

How can people see other customs of yours and commission their own?

I have my own Facebook Page at www.facebook.com/jdscrystalcustoms

Thanks so much Jeremy for your donations to our Pops for Tots auctions!  This custom will be available for auction starting Sunday night December 7th in the VK Auction House.
