Hello all! Please allow me to introduce myself. I’m Esbjo_Figs on instagram. Some of you may already follow me, but if you’re not… there’s free hugs! Well, no… there’s no hugs but sometimes there’s contests! I post daily photos of Funko products, and other misc toys. Now that the shameless plug is out of the way. Every Thursday on Popvinyls.com I’ll be posting one or two highlight shots from my archives with a brief description of each shot. Since this is my first post I figured today I’d bring you three!

Sam Winchester (#93) and Dean Winchester (#94) from the Pop! Television line. The inspiration for this photo came after a week long binge of watching Supernatural from the beginning. The Impala is as much a part of the main cast as the actual characters so it was only fitting that it would be with the brothers. Here’s hoping to an Impala Pop Ride in the future!

Prison Yard Rick Grimes (#67) and Carl Grimes (#97) from the Pop! Television line. The inspiration for this father/son mash up came from the “Don’t Look Back” promotional poster that AMC put out I believe for season three, but I could be wrong. I had always wanted to recreate this shot, but could never find the right set of railroad tracks around town. Once my photo editing skills got better… this shot was one of the first I created.

Chase Vampire Spike (#125) and Gemma Teller Morrow (#90) from the Pop! Television line. The inspiration for this photo was just the fact that I had finally found a chase in the wild without paying an arm and a leg. Also Spike vamped out in all of his glory there had to be a cemetery scene. That may be ketchup coming from his mouth because they got the mustard out… anyone? The title of this photo is appropriately named  “Tastes like leather.”

That’s all I have for this week. Thank you for reading! I hope you enjoy the photos as much as I like creating them. Follow me on Instagram (www.instagram.com/esbjo_figs) and don’t be afraid to say hello! I may even try to take requests if I have the Pop! Be on the lookout for other photos that don’t make it here on the Funko Trading Group Facebook page! Be kind to one another, have a good night… and Free the Pops!
