Funko announced just moments ago that a new DC inspired Mystery Minis set will be coming out in January: DC Super Heroes. Unlike the previous set which was concentrated on one franchise (that one being Batman), this lineup draws both heroes and villains from across the DC realm.

Based on these glam shots, it looks like this series will follow the same makeup as the recent Sci-Fi Mystery Minis set: 12pc case with chaser ratios (meaning you will not get a full set in each case). I would expect the White Lantern Hal Jordan and Batman, the Metallic Harley Quinn, and the Reverse Flash to be some of the chasers, but final ratios are not known.

UPDATE:

Thanks to Allison from Funko, we also have the ratios.

unnamed (1)

1 per case (or 1/12):

Batman, Superman, Green Lantern, Flash, Aquaman, Wonder Woman, Powergirl, Harley Quinn, Deathstroke

1 per 2 cases (or 1/24):

Martian Manhunter, Black Manta, Batman (TV Series), Lex Luthor

1 per 3 cases (or 1/36):

Metallic Harley Quinn, White Lantern

1 per 6 cases (or 1/72):

Reverse Flash, White Lantern Batman

UPDATE #2:

Thanks to my friend Sean, we also have when looks to be the Hot Topic assortment of Mystery Minis, which will include an entirely different Harley Quinn sculpt (in both regular and metallic) and a Black Flash instead of Reverse Flash.

So, based off this new information, it looks like Hot Topic cases will have three exclusives and regular cases will have three exclusives. Ratios of the Hot Topic variants are the same as the regular versions.

What do you think of this new line of Mystery Minis? Will you be collecting them?
