Welcome back to Custom Spotlight! Today we have a treat for you. We have not one, but four customs to show you. These four amazing customs were created by Crystal Spring Reyes! We asked Crystal some questions about her customs so lets get to them!
Why did you decide to make these four customs?
“I actually made my first custom after receiving one of my pops damaged. It was a 9 inch Sulley with Boo set. The box was smashed and Boo came loose during shipping and left paint scuffs across Sulley’s face. I received a partial refund but Sulley definitely needed some work.“
How did you come up with idea for these customs?
“I had seen flocked figures before but I wished some of them were more furry. Since Sulley was already damaged I tried my hand at making what I wanted… A very furry figure. It went well enough that I started doing others such as Chewbacca, Ghost, and Wampa.”
How long did it take to complete these customs?
“Sulley took me several hours. I dyed the fur myself, glued it all, and then painted spots. Chewbacca and Wampa probably take about 3 hours as well. Ghost is a little simpler at about and hour and and a half.“
