One of our awesome members over at our Funko Trading Facebook Group sent me this awesome information about an upcoming Magic the Gathering Pop! Exclusive… well, awesome for some of you. In celebration of the release of the M15 Core Set for the Magic the Gathering card set, Funko has teamed up with Southern Hobby Supply to bring to the stores they supply an exclusive Garruk Pop! vinyl.
Now here is the twist: the number of Garruks each store that Southern Hobby Supply distributes to will vary depending on the size of that store’s M15 Prerelease Kit. In this case, the more players the store buys supplies for in anticipation of the Prerelease Event, the more Garruks they will receive, and I am assuming they are to be given out as prizes. However, in addition, each store that uses Southern Hobby Supply as their supplier will have the opportunity to purchase an additional (3) Garruks. If math is done correctly, that means each store can get upwards of 7 or 8 Garruks, but no more. Estimated arrival for this exclusive is August 2014.
Man, talk about a limited exclusive. No word yet on if other suppliers will be offering the same deal, but if not, this might be one of the hardest exclusives to get this summer.
