At Toy Fair 2014, the Funko Catalog showed a fun new line of Pop! Vinyls coming out this year: Major League Baseball. The first seven figures of this series are all beloved mascots from teams around the country. Here is the concept art from the catalog:
Sometime in the overnight, Amazon posted six of the seven figures for pre-order, at a price of $10.99 and a release date of May 10, 2014. They also released the Glam Shots.
Missing from the lineup is #03 in the series, Mr. Red from the Cincinnati Reds. No idea if that was intentional, or if there is just a delay in his release. Here is a better pic of his concept art.
UPDATE: This afternoon, Allison over at Funko sent out a Press Release for the MLB Mascots and included with the other Glam Shots we already saw was the missing one.
It looks like Mr. Red is now known as Mr. Redlegs. Could be the reason why Amazon didn’t have the photo up.
